Who Is Ann
Jost?
Ann Jost means it when she says, "If I
say I am going to do something, I do it to the best of my ability." Time
after time she has proven this in all her endeavors. Ann believes in taking
care of her clients' needs with honest and professional dedication. She
believes that getting to the heart of what each client wants is the ultimate
way to achieve a mutual goal. Ann attributes her years of success to hard work
and a positive attitude. Focusing on the end result has helped Ann succeed
where other Realtors could not. When excellence counts---Ann is the one to
call.
As a child she quickly advanced from her
beginning swimming lessons to competitive swimming and finally competitive
synchronized swimming. While still in high school, her team participated in
competitions at the international level. Ann's love of the water is shared by
her husband, Tom. They both are skilled at scuba diving and have dived in the
Caribbean, Pacific and Red Sea. Ann has qualified as a Divemaster while her
husband is a PADI Master Scuba Instructor.
However, it is in real estate that Ann
really shines. Since first getting her real estate license in 1974 while
stationed in Tampa, Florida with her husband, Ann has consistently been a top
producer. When a PCS move brought Ann to Ft. Hood in 1976, she continued her
winning ways and soon became a leader for her new office. She has never left an
office but instead the reins of ownership have switched between, Century 21,
ERA and now Coldwell Banker. Each has awarded Ann with their top levels of
leadership.
As a graduate of the University of
Kentucky with graduate level work in Nutrition and Food Science, Ann knows
the importance of supporting her continued success with ongoing professional
training. Since she was first licensed, Ann has earned her GRI (Graduate
Realtors Institute) designation, Certified Residential Specialist (CRS)
designation, ABR (Authorized Buyer's Representative) and her Texas Broker's
License.

Ann loves to travel with her husband,
Tom. While Tom went on two yearlong Army tours of Korea and Egypt, Ann had the
opportunity to live and travel with Tom for 6 or 7 weeks twice during each of
these tours. This gave them a taste of travel that they still enjoy today.
Unfortunately, Ann never was able to live at length overseas because Tom PCS'd
between different Commands at Ft. Hood. However, this allowed them to make
central Texas an extended home that few military families can have. Therefore,
many of their travels have been on their own. They have journeyed through
China, seeing the Great Wall, "Terracotta Warriors" and the Yangtze River.
Another fabulous adventure was through Australia and New Zealand, getting to
scuba dive on the Great Barrier Reef. They are always dreaming and planning of
another adventure. Tom has retired from the Army now but still works as a
contractor on Ft. Hood for Computer Sciences Corporation, Inc. digitizing the
force. Regrettably, work interferes with travel.
Whether she is serving her clients' needs
or the needs of her community through her work as an officer of the Fort
Hood Area Association of Realtors, as a member of the Chamber of Commerce or
Altrusa International of Copperas Cove, a woman's service organization, Ann is
dedicated to excellence and providing the kind of service that gets results.
